The Vision of Congregational Nursing for Northwest Ohio is faith communities of many denominations sponsoring health ministries, each one unique and indigenous to the congregation and the surrounding community it serves. Each ministry attends to integrated health and pastoral care needs.

Congregational health ministries supplement and complement but do not substitute for care providers or traditional pastoral care providers. Congregational health ministries look to the Congregational Nurse Project for support, guidance, education and standard setting and assurance provided through the collective expertise and resources of the individual ministries and their regional offices.
